Description
The X8T Tourniquet is designed to make severe bleeding control simple, fast and intuitive, even in high-stress situations. Developed by a tactical physician and mechanical engineer, the X8T was created with input from soldiers, law enforcement and medical professionals who understand the challenges of applying a tourniquet when stress and trauma can affect fine motor skills and dexterity.
At the heart of the X8T is patented MED™ (Maximum Efficiency Dial™) Technology. The dial-based system is designed around gross motor skills, making the tourniquet straightforward to apply without the complexity often associated with traditional windlass-style systems. It can also be applied one-handed, making it particularly useful when treating yourself or when one hand is otherwise occupied.
The latest X8T Gen III builds on this with a clever new U-shaped key, replacing the traditional D-ring. Positioned beneath the dial, it allows the user to effortlessly pop the dial up, making conversion and removal easier and more intuitive. There is no need to rotate the dial through 180 degrees, helping make release more controlled and straightforward.
Designed and manufactured in the USA, the X8T is built to perform reliably in demanding environments and is suitable for military, law enforcement, emergency services, healthcare professionals and civilian first-aiders.
