1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero
TraumaMed Solutions Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with UK Government targets. This means that we are committed to reducing our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by at least 90%. This commitment has been made in line with the SBTi Corporate Net Zero standard
2. Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline Year: May 2024-April 25
Baseline Emissions: This is the first year of carbon footprint measurement and forms the basis for comparison in future years. This was also the first 12 months of the company being in existence.

4. Emissions Reduction Targets
TraumaMed Solutions Ltd is a quickly growing business and so to effectively manage carbon emission targets for a growing business, we will focus on a multi-pronged approach including: measure and tracking our carbon footprint and setting determined but achievable targets. Our primary focus during our growth phase will be to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and have a targeted approach to reducing emissions in scope 3. As a growing business, we have set an intensity-based target, aiming to reduce our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions per employee by 40% no later than 2030. We project our carbon emissions will decrease over the next three years as follows:
We are committed to reducing our emissions by at least 40% by 2030, in line with the UK Net Zero trajectory.
5. Carbon Reduction Measures
The following environmental management measures and projects have been implemented or are planned:
Implemented:
• Introduced hybrid working to reduce commuting.
• Encouraged sustainable travel (cycling, public transport) for local work.
• Switching location to one with electric car chargers
• Using a UK courier (Parcelforce) focused on reducing carbon emissions (https://www.parcelforce.com/sustainability/net-zero)
Planned (2025–2027):
• Conduct a vehicle usage audit and route optimisation for sales staff with an aim of transitioning sales team vehicles to hybrid or fully electric models by 2028.
• Reduce printed marketing materials by 80% in favour of digital.
• Work with our courier services to further expand use of low-emission delivery options.
• Improve accuracy in Scope emissions estimation by use of other methodologies
6. Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
